The best gloves?

I'm going on a winter city break where the overnight lows can be -10. I don't think my Sainsburys gloves are going to cut it, in terms of warmth OR style.

What are the best gloves for super-warmth AND stylishness?

Not mittens - I get sweaty fingers in mittens.

Budget under £50.

Thanks!

I only tend to wear leather gloves. I've about 4 pairs a couple from M&S and a very spendy handmade pair from Naples.
I think they are great for adding colour and style.
Next used to have good selection too.

I know you said no mittens, but I wore silk lining gloves and mittens for a winter holiday in the Baltics. They were warmer than my cashmere gloves.

I bought fleece lined leather gloves from John Lewis- cosy and smart.

Do leather gloves and cashmere gloves really work in -10?

I wear leather gloves in the South of England and my hands are still cold when there’s a cutting east wind.

surely OP needs something more hi-tec?

watching as I’m going to Germany in a couple of weeks

OP have you looked at ski gloves? I’m sorry I don’t know the answer but I feel this is a case of performance over style?

It was -5 here the other day and the fleece lined leather gloves were great, my hands were certainly warm enough.
