Plain scoop neck tops

Can anyone suggest where I can get good quality unpatterned cotton scoop neck tops? I’ve looked in a lot of places and they all seem to be patterned and I need them to wear with checked trousers. Some embellishment is ok, just not a pattern.

Is this a deep enough scoop? I’ve bought similar tops from J Crew in the past and can really vouch for their quality. They keep their shape and wash really well. I’ve got some I’ve had for 10 years and they look as good as new so although pricey for first purchase they are cost effective in the long run.

Do you mean ones made of t-shirt material? If so, M&S thermal tops are plain and have a scoop neck. I wear them constantly both as layers and as tops in their own right.

I have half a dozen o these in different colours, some sleeveless, some long sleeve, some Ts. They are 95% cotton, 5% elastine, wash and dry well. No twisting or stretching and the only ones that are just starting to bobble are 3 years old. I get a couple of new ones every year.
I know Asda isn't normally a recommended brand for clothes but for plain basics I don't think you can beat these - definitely worth a look. (And at £5.50 you can have one in every colour without breaking the bank). The vest style Ts are fantastically long too, so great for cosiness in this weather.

Primark tend to have cheap, good quality, cotton scoop neck long sleeve tshirts in a variety of colours. I echo a PP too that M and S thermal scoop neck tops are lovely as well.

I came on to recommend the ASDA ones but someone already had ! They're great, I have 3 and they're goof for layering or wearing on their own. Good quality.
