Next Beauty Advent 2023 Opening Thread

I'm sure there's enough of us with the Next calendar for a thread :) Please don't post spoilers before 7am on each day.

Ooh, really like todays. It's made me want to buy one in another colour as well. Ive not done a Next AC before and impressed so far

I'm unsure how to use today's. Do you just pop it where eyeshadow should go?

I'm lurking on all the advent threads and I'd really appreciate if you could share what you got

Oh now I really like this, browny eyeshadows really work for me.

I’ve always had the double whammy of oily, slightly hooded eyelids so eyeshadow tends to slide off fairly quickly but have recently discovered Barry M Lid Lock primer which basically does what it says on the tin.

I love the Bobbi Brown eye pencil!

Warning for today's product, it's not to spray on you. I was about to have a spritz as I hadn't noticed the white writing 😵‍💫

I'm not sure about yesterday's as I have hooded eyes so find I eyeshadow tends to crease but I will give it ago. It isn't a product I would have picked but that's what is good about beauty calendars, they introduce you to different products. I like the scent of today's but seems an odd choice for a beauty calendar. It will get used to make the house smell nice if anyone comes round!

I like the packaging for this, it’s very cute. Not entirely sure about the smell - it’s not unpleasant but it does smell slightly medicinal to me.

I really like the room spray, I think I’m going to put it in my office (and try to remember to use it 😬)

Today is a Neom travel candle. Not sure I’d ever take a candle with me when travelling 🤔 but it’s a good name for a dinky size. Very fragrant even though it’s small, and I love the scent. A good couple of days for me.

Looking forward to trying this tonight. It's clean bedding day so will have a nice bath and light this and have a bit of a pamper.

I love candles so this makes me happy! Lovely smell too.

I love today's too! Currently use the clinique one and this feels just as nice :)

Not terribly interesting but I’ll use it Pai Resurrection Girl Hydrating Mask. I think it’s going to be another one for my post-Christmas stash when I’ll have the house to myself and can have some home spa days, slathered in the various calendar unguents!

Yes, think I’ll use it with today’s eye mask!

All sounds pretty good for an eye mask. Maybe I shall wait to use it until someone other than my mirror can be astounded at the effect!

Meh can't get excited for a hand cream. Might pass this one on.

I love this hand cream, I really like the smell. And a nice size for popping in my handbag. I’ve accumulated a bit of a stash of 30ml hand creams so they should keep me going all year 😆

Not exciting but useful. And good timing as the cream I carry around in my bag has just run out.

Another that I'm not interested in today unfortunately. I get my nail gel polished so this one will be passed on too.

Same for me as I just started getting gel nails each month so will regift or sell.

Today's is a nice one to put in my wash bag for weekends away. Used it before, like it.
