Preferably non scented too. Guessing Glossier is out of the question.

Dont want anything cakey or yellow.

You say no Glossier, but actually, I really like this:

It’s very light but evens things out. Depends how much coverage you want.

Perfecting Skin Tint

In the land between bare skin and makeup makeup exists the imperceptible wash of color that is Perfecting Skin Tint

I’d heard that Glossier skin tint was good. My kids use it. Do you think it’s ok for older women? I don’t want thick make up, kind of a natural look that will cope with the demands of older skin.

Laura Geller balance and brighten works for me! (62)

I'm in my early 60s and I use Mac face and body. It gives a lovely glow and can be built up or sheered out.

I don't think you can go far wrong with L'Oreal True Match liquid foundation. It's got loads of shades, with different undertones (if you don't want yellow you'll probably need a shade with a C in it). I find it great for natural coverage but can build it up. Doesn't sit in my pores or fine lines. Works well over my moisturiser. Lasts pretty much all day.

They also do a very sheer one called True Match Nude which is a tinted serum, I don't get on with that from a shade perspective as it seems to pull sallow/yellow on me.

No7 Hydraluminous. Hands down the best foundation. I’ve used it for years and years now, always looks excellent no matter how long it’s in for.

fishonabicycle · 01/12/2023 14:24

Hydraluminous here too - it works very well.

Stresa22 · 01/12/2023 14:38

No 7 for me too. At 55 I was a late arrival to No 7 products after years of trying the fancy brands.

FortunataTagnips · 01/12/2023 17:08

@BB00p The Glossier skin tint is very light - feels like liquid going on, so it doesn’t cake or sit in lines. Could you try your kids’, just to see if the texture works for you?

I like Trinny products
