Hello :)

It is our 10 year wedding anniversary this year. When we got married we didn’t have much money at all so bought very cheap rings. DH has no idea where his is and mine is not in great condition. So we are planning to get new ones.

I really like this ring but would prefer 18ct to 9ct. I really like rings that combine yellow and rose gold. I definitely want delicate and feminine.

Any ideas much appreciated :)

I like it. You don't get much Welsh gold though, despite the name. So it might be a bit overpriced for 9ct gold though.

Thinking about it, Clogau do sell wedding rings where you can choose the gold, so you probably could get 18ct if you wanted. Not sure it's in that design though.

This might be a bit too much but, presumably, the ring you linked to would be more expensive in 18ct gold in any case.

Yes I feel it is overpriced for 9ct @LadyBird1973! Unfortunately Clogau don’t allow you to choose the metal with these designs and I’m not looking for a plain band.

That is a lovely ring @CruCru and I definitely expect to pay more for 18ct. Would consider anything up to around £1500. Had never considered that Cartier may have something in budget so thank you.

The other thing you could consider, since your budget could go up to £1500, is getting one made. There are places that could make you a ring 'inspired' by the clogau one but in 18ct gold, if you had your heart set on that particular design.
It might also be worth looking at pre loved because you sometimes get more for the money, but only if you are okay with the ring having a history.

If I was in your shoes, I'd be looking at something here, either off the peg or bespoke

Thanks for the ideas :) Will take a look at custom made. I went into Clogau today to try the ring on and it is lovely but I am definitely going to keep looking. Hadn’t considered custom so that is another option to look at.
