This dress, with what?

Hi

I have this dress, what boots would you go for? I don't think I can get into knee high ones, so probably ankle boots of some kind - which colour?
And what about tights? Are they in or out of style? I will probably be outside a lot so it will be fairly chilly so think I'd consider tights, what colour etc? I haven't bought a pair of tights for absolute years!

Also, jacket wise, similar colour to the boots?

For Autumn/Winter I'd probably go dark brown/wine shades - difficult to day without seeing IRL
(Tights are a necessity in winter IMO.)
Grey wool tights and black boots might also work to dress down.
To dress up, sheer black tights, black ankle boots and jacket.

What is the occasion?! Are you trying to dress it up? Or down?
