Super soft scarf

My mums asked for a super soft, warm, fluffy scarf for Xmas.

Any tips on where to find one?

I've felt some soft ones in Next but they're the kind of material that looks a bit tatty.

She said she saw a nice soft 'bobbly' one in a garden centre but I've not been able to locate it!

Plain or patterned? There are so many scarves everywhere. Personally I like thinner ones that I can tuck into my coat, but i know the thicker scarves are back in style.

I've got this one, it's a lovely pink, bigger than it looks and it's very lightweight too, comes in lots of colours. I've also got it in a couple of other colours, a pale blue that Next did last year and the also the lime that M & S have done this year.

The John Lewis cashmere scarf from last season or the year before are beautiful. This season’s not so good.
They come up on eBay quite often, around £40. I got another from there last week. New with tags.

Would she consider a snood? I saw a lovely soft one in Poundland of all places ( it wasn't £1, it was their clothes section m&co) in a ribbed fawn colour.
