Nightie for my mum

I need help. Mum, in her mid 60s, has asked for a nightie. She normally wears oversized tshirt style and is around a size 26. She won't have cotton as there's no 'give' but I doubt she's ever tried. She says things are usually too tight on the tops of her arms so I need something with plenty of room. She doesn't leave the house so I can't get her to look at anything and she is resistant to change. She's also a hoarder so she won't say if it's not right she'll just carry on with the holey ones she's got. Does anyone have a suggestion? I looked at m&s but their sizes are very limited at 26-28. I have a primark in town but I don't know if they go up that far. I am not bothered about price/quality as long as she will wear it!

Have a look at yours clothing, they have some lovely comfy night ware

Damart do large sizes.
Also David Nieper if you want to get spendy. Quality is lovely I have a set of pajamas. I was gifted them and I'm not a David Nieper customer but they are super soft , wash and wear very well.

Thank you. Comfy is just the word, completely missed that in the post

I was also going to suggest Lands End, I love their supima nighties, really comfy and snuggly. I tend not to buy anything at full price from LE as most things cycle through discounts, although not sure in the run up to Christmas .

Yours Clothing. They're really good and don't seem to shrink in the wash.

I have several cotton jersey ones from Lands End too. She might like the long sleeved one for winter - the short sleeve ones might pinch a bit around the top of the arms if she is chubby there (like me). I also have some from M&S too in viscose jersey but they are from a few years ago - not sure if they still do them.

I got my Mum a gorgeous comfy t-shirt style one from Intimissimi, but am not sure about their sizings.

Thanks everyone. I haven't shopped at any of these and there are some brilliant options. I'm mostly drawn to Yours as these are her usual style and she's asked for 22-24 but I know she often buys slightly bigger so my next question is does anyone think the sizes are generous from there or shall I size up? I am going to resist getting anything for myself but am adding some I've seen from this search to my birthday list for next year!

Hi, yes I think Yours sizing is more than generous, I wouldn’t size up.

Excellent thanks you
