Oodie sizing

I realise oodies are neither stylish nor beautiful but it's clothes so thought this is the right place? 🫣

Just got an outdoor one. I went for the larger size as I'm a size 18. Omg...you could fit at least two of me in it. Took weeks to arrive so I don't think I can be bothered to return it. It's lovely and soft so I'll just schlep around in it like a giant fat bear but warning... Unless you're a size 22+, I'd go for the size down. It's mahoosive 🙈

They only do two sizes.

They're meant to be ridiculously oversized that's the whole point of them

Mumteedum · 26/11/2023 13:52

@Mirrormeback I must have missed that. There were two women in the photos of the outdoor ones. One looked skinny. My body looked more like the other so went by the size she was wearing. I mean there's roomy and then there's you could pitch it in a field and fit several people inside 🙈🙈

Maybe the outdoor ones are different then

I supposed you'd want them smaller if you're out in the public domain

I think they're trying to cope DryRobe with their outdoor range and DryRobe are very oversized. Because you're meant to get changed under them on a beach, lake or river etc.

A few larger people near me wear DryRobe as coats around town m, as opposed to the beach where they belong, as coats.

They look ridiculous btw worn as coats on the streets.

I regularly wear my 9 yr olds much to her annoyance! I keep telling her stealing her oodie is one of the perks of being her mum.

@Mirrormeback well it is a coat and not a dry robe so I don't think I'd be ridiculous to wear it as a coat!

I'll only be pottering about and may wear it into work so I can have it as a blanket I'my office which is freezing.

Ah well.
