Unbalanced eyebrows - should I get redone

I got my eyebrows and eyelashes done yesterday and I think that are a bit of a disaster. There is still a load of dye on the skin under the lashes, which I've never had before. However the main issue is the eyebrows which seem unevenly plucked to me. One has a blunt edge while the other has a more natural edge.

I didn't notice at the time as the room wasn't terribly bright, she just held the mirror up to me briefly and all I could focus on was the dye under my eyes, which I asked her about and she said it would wear off in a day or so. I did a bit of scrubbing when I got home and it's faded a fair bit now.

Anyway, can I have opinions on the brows please? It looks really obvious to me so I'm thinking I should call her tomorrow for her to even them up.

I can sort of see what you mean I think but I had to look quite hard. It's not something anyone looking at your face would really notice.

I know my eyebrows don't lend themselves particularly to matching at the inner edges. But the general shape is always fine.

Thanks. Maybe I'll just leave it then as it would be a bit of a pain to few back. I definitely won't be using her again though. I still look like I have smudged black eyeliner under my eyes, which I've never had before.

Your eyebrows look fine actually. I think most women have one eyebrow slightly higher than the other and as PP said most people wouldn't even notice.
I have the same and sometimes I tweak mine slightly with a very fine brow pencil which improves the look.😁

It's more the blunt edge on the right eye and the more natural edge on the other that is bothering me. Maybe eyebrow pencil is the answer.

I think it’s difficult to tell from that picture you’ve posted as we can’t actually see the entirety of your brows. Could you take a whole face picture and then crop it just to the eyes/brows.

its always been said that eyebrows are sisters and not twins, trying to create perfectly identical isn’t the idea.

OchonAgusOchonOh · 26/11/2023 11:52

I'll try and do that @BranchGold . It will be a bit later though.

I'm not bothered about them not being identical as I know they won't be. It just looks to me like she took a razor to one and left the other natural. I prefer the natural one though.

It is a crap photo a tight 😀

I think they are fine - eyebrows are sisters not twins as they say

Go somewhere else next time, by which time you’ll have regrowth and you can have them shaped a bit differently if you want

Sorry I wouldn't be happy with that. But I would just rectify it myself. It's easy to see what needs to be plucked.

Saschka · 26/11/2023 12:16

It looks to me like there is still dye on your skin. I’d expect that to fade over the next day or two, and you should have a more natural look after that.

I think I will just do that. And I'll definitely be going elsewhere next time.

I expect the colour to be a bit unnatural until the dye has worn off. It was the blunt cut I was referring to as unnatural. I think I'll pluck to match tomorrow.

People probably wouldn't notice, but I'd go and get them evened up as you've just paid to have them done properly.

That is true. I'll see what they look like tomorrow and give her a buzz then. I have an event on Tuesday and want them to look OK for that.
