Feeling unconfident in jeans postpartum

I would love some honest advice. I just feel so bad whenever I wear jeans. I’m one year and 2 months post birth of my first baby. It was a traumatic birth and I had complications for 5 months after. I do have a diastesis recti still whcih I am working on, but it’s taking time to heal. I think this is why I have the bulge (which I hate). I’m losing a lot of weight at the moment, which doesn’t feel healthy for me and I don’t have much in the way of hips. I’ve tried a few different types of jeans, but don’t feel confident in any types. I would love some honest opinions and any advice as I’m struggling so much with my confidence in jeans and trousers. Thank you.

This is a confidence problem rather than a jeans fit problem.

There is nothing wrong with the way you look.

Are you doing regular weight-bearing exercise to build your strength back up?

Are you remembering to be grateful to and proud of your body for everything it has done and does do, carrying you a and your baby?

Thank you for replying. Maybe it’s an emotional thing relating to birth trauma and postnatal issues- I feel like my body has been broken and ruined. It’s sad I suppose. Thank you for your comment.
