Wide leg trousers

I'm looking for wide leg trousers that fit snug on the waist/bum - most I've tried are baggy all over. Where should I be looking?

Ive just bought some from ME+EM. They're not cheap, but beautiful fabric and colour and had lots of compliments on them. True to size.

I'm looking for similar, my mistake has been buying elastic waist summer trousers which, I now realise unless they have a flat waistband look baggie on the bum, unless that's just me. I need elastic waist as my waist is a size bigger than my hips. So to fit my hips 8/10 the waist is tight which is a big 10 mostly 12

Ive just bought some wide legged jeans from M+S. DH laughed when I held them up, but said they looked great when I put them on. I’m a curvy 5’ 2” size 16 and I love them!!!

Which ones did you buy?

I have these. M and S call them ankle grazer, boyfriend jeans with wide leg. To be ankle grazer you have to keep the fold over (not stitched up) that they come with. They are a summer colour but they do them in other washes. They don’t need a belt and fit nicely in the way you were mentioning.

Regarding wide leg trousers. The only pair I have are smart ones I bought as an impulse buy. Pre COVID. I love them but only wear them occasionally. They are classic wool mix and hang fairly loosely, probably because I’m slimmer now than when I bought them. They are the sort of thing that styles the rest of the outfit up so I wear them with smart fine knit tops and some sort of jacket. Usually leather/faux leather or with a quilted biker style jacket I’ve had for years. They might still do something similar
