How long would it be on you? I think it's a bit of a strange length and footwear will be tricky. I also think sometimes leather skirts do that weird arse thing that denim skirts do, whereby they make you look flat and wide, although that may just be my own arse.

Beautiful skirt although lengths do change with fashion. I think a knee length one is more timeless.

OnlyCorrect · 22/11/2023 19:50

I don't think timeless classics really exist, but that straight midaxi with a front split is a super trendy cut so will date quickly IMO.

Aworldofmyown · 22/11/2023 20:04

The cut really suits me, I've bought the grey denim one. I'm tall and they look good with boots and shoes.
It's alot for one winters wear though isn't it 😭

I had a denim skirt in that cut which I wore continuously in the late 90s, early 2000s.

So while I absolutely love your skirt, I'd be suspicious it's part of the 90s revival and won't last.

Well there's 20% off...there seems to be loads of fabric around the hip area but then that model doesn't have any hips to speak of. As my Mum once said "what the heck if you like it buy it" 😆

I like you Mrsdotcotton

You know yourself OP, are you one to keep wearing stuff YOU love despite it being dated? I'm in a knit skater dress today FWIW😉
