What shoes to wear with a winter jumpsuit?

I have a couple of jumpsuits which I feel nice in and I'd like to wear one today, going to a wine bar. Are courts ok? High heeled Mary Jane's? I have lots of pretty flat sandals but would they look silly in this wintry weather?
Ankle boots?
Am lost! Would appreciate any advice please, thanks!

I want to walk into the village. I have been known to take heels with me and wear trainers, popping posh shoes on around the corner 😀

If I'm going to pub or wine bar or restaurant. I trot down in trainers and pull out posh shoes at the last minute

It depends so much on the style and fabric.

a dressy jumpsuit with a sheen needs ‘going out shoes’, like strappy sandals. Ankle boots would just look odd and stick out the bottom frumpily. (Yes I used the f word)

if it’s cotton/cord/denim that is being dressed up with nice make up and jewellery- then a nice pair of leather or suede trainers or a clompy boot could work too.

I have a pair of silver ankle boots I wear to dress up in the winter.
