Mid calf flat boots for under jeans

please help! I am looking for flat boots to wear under cropped jeans and trousers, so ideally mid calf and tight to the legs so the trousers sit right.

Ideally smart enough to wear to work.

I am a size 7.5 to 8, and have narrow heels so lace up boots usually work best (or else my feet slip in the boots), but willing to try other options too. I have fairly solid ankles but slim legs.

flexible on colour. Any suggestions?

I needed exactly the same sort of thing - boots need to be tightish to the leg with cropped trousers or they look a bit clumpy on me. I ended up buying Clarks Lydia Top, but apparently Jigsaw have something similar
