Practical question about m and s returns

I have items from 2 m and s orders which I would like to return to store. Is it like at next and can I just rock up to return them? Or do I need to sort them into the two separate orders and fill in the online return info first?

I have tried looking at the returns info on online but I’m still none the wiser!

TIA

You used to be able to return them to the tills like Next, but locally at least they've changed it so you have to fill in online return form, package them up properly, then scan them at a machine with a big post box in store. Very annoying the first time I realised this, as it was a wasted trip into town.

My local M and S has return machines like Next has.

I did a return yesterday, it was pretty simple. I did the online return, resealed the bag, scanned the barcode in store which prints out a label, stuck it on the bag and put it through the big postbox. I was still browsing in store when a staff member picked it up and I had a refund before I’d left the store.

Thanks everyone.
