Byredo - any favourites?

Trendy London relative has asked for a Byrdeo fragrance and given a list - which do you recommend? She works in an office so I'm guessing nothing too strong.

Love gypsy water and mojave ghost. Neither too strong but I think smell very fresh

Depends on their style. Mojave Ghost gets a lot of compliments when I wear it so it's noticeable but it's also definitely "you smell nice" not "eek what's that" - so it's 'normal' enough for an office. Never got the Gypsy Water hype myself but it's popular. Bal D'Afrique is nice in that vein too. My fave is 1996. Space NK stock some of the more popular ones so if you have one near you you can try them out.

Black Saffron but Bibliotheque for a conservative office choice. I smell Mojave Ghost/Gypsy Water on a lot of women (in London), so while they're nice they feel a bit less 'special' as a present, I think.

Rose of No Man’s Land is lovely

Love Mojave Ghost. Struggled with Black Saffron - it’s smelled like a 90s pub night to me! But other people love it. Didn’t like super cedar either.
