How to freshen up clothes without washing or dry cleaning?

I have a few bits like men’s suit jackets and other things you can’t wash that I want to freshen up. I want to sell them so dry cleaning is out because I won’t end up making any money. It’s not smoke or BO but that kind of slightly musty/been in the wardrobe too long type thing. Any tips??

If you have a steamer, steam them. If the weather is decent, hang them outside on a breezy day. You can buy home ‘dry clean’ kits which you use in the tumble drier. They won’t clean , but they may freshen up - try Amazon or Lakeland.

If you are selling them they should be clean rather than freshened up.

Thanks Pink great ideas. I’ve got a steamer but I’d never heard of those kits so I will have a look!

I would not want to buy something which wasn't clean. Have occasionally had things from Vinted which reek of Febreeze which is disgusting
