Help me find a cheap silver necklace?!

If such a thing exists. I have a family member, new in my life so I'm trying to be thoughtful but with not much to go on. I know she loves statement silver necklaces as she wears them all the time.
Unfortunately, though I have found what I believe is the perfect necklace, it isn't even Stirling silver. She likes silver because costume jewellery tarnishes her skin.

I am skint. So you can see my issue!
Here is a photo of the necklace and the metal it's made of. Will this tarnish her skin? I know copper does but not sure about the rest.
Please help!

Philip jones do sterling silver at low prices, not sure you would get something that chunky there though

If she can’t wear costume jewellery in general I would avoid altogether. I’m not generally allergic but just had a ‘silver’ necklace bring me out in a ring of sore blisters around my neck!

Your best bet is either FaceBook marketplace / EBAY or a 2nd hand jewellery shop. You can get sterling silver pretty cheaply that way. I just bought 3 (more delicate, I must admit) silver chains for Dd Xmas for £25.

Jewellery is very individual and most jewellery bought for me has been really unsuitable for me or my tastes. Even DH gets it wrong 8/10 times. Personally I'd avoid it as a gift for someone I don't know well especially if budget is an issue and she wears sterling silver.

Could you look at a gift voucher to a place that would be in your budget, say St Justin jewellery or similar? And explain you wanted to give a jewellery gift but didn't want to get it wrong? Or take her shopping with a budget? Spend the afternoon togetherness or similar. Get to know her.

Have a look at Boho Moon. It's stainless steel so no tarnishing and you can choose colour. Massive range. I've loads of jewellery from this brand. There is a also a sale on currently. Highly recommended.
