Need soft winter boots that don't kill my toes

For some reason my toe
Nails hurt (running trainers I think) I'm now looking for a comfy pair of black winter boots with a grippy sole ( scared of falling over in snow) but not too old fashioned as I would also like to wear them with dresses etc . I would love DMs but can't bare breaking them in . Any ideas im a bit lost ?

Ugg do a few leather styles that could be what you're after. They don't look like classic ugg boots but are still comfortable and warm due to the sheepskin lining.

If you go for the soft leather DM's they're usually easy to break in. I have sinclairs that have been comfy from day one and fur lined leonores that are also super comfy too
