I love jeans, but with IBS and weird sensitivities to a lot of clothing I tend not to wear them too often. I don't like dresses or skirts.
I like to look fairly ordinary, with nice touches (cashmere, etc) so don't go for obvious trends. I prefer mid rise to high and love tapered legs. I am struggling at the moment to update my winter things. I have one pair of jeans, some cords that are irritating, and my ever comfy sweaty betty gary's (slightly cropped and tapered loose yoga pants).
I would love something like the Gar'y but maybe for winter, that could be dressed up or down. Joggers and thick jersey don't do it for me and make me look like a sausage.
I thought I could solve this issue by buying jeans a size up, but the resulting fabric at the hips looks dreadful. I don't want a chunky waist with tons of elastic so can't find a solution that is as comfy as my PJ's - but obviously smarter!
