Tights dilemma

I'm wearing this green knee length dress at a wedding next week, with green slingback heels. What tights - nude ones? Black will be too heavy looking won't they - or what about sheer black - are they back in fashion - I'm having 80s "barely black" flashbacks!

I think nude if the shoes are green. I like the idea of black sheer polka dot ones too, but only if the shoes are black.

Definitely not nude. Sheer black but you'll have to rethink the shoes and go black shoes. I really like the polka dot tights idea too. Was thinking this when I saw the dress.

Well I wouldn't wear them myself either and I'd just go with bare legs but the OP's dilemma was about tights and not shoes!

Well, if you really wanted to go for an 80's vibe, you could wear cream or white polkadot tights. Then you could still wear the green shoes.
