Jeans for pear shape

Can anyone recommend a high street/supermarket or inexpensive brand of jeans for big hips and small waist?

I got some mom jeans from new look but after wearing for a short amount of time the high waist sags down. I always have a big gap at the back of my jeans or the thighs are too tight. Very stretchy ones are usually ok but I’m trying to branch out into other shapes.

I'm very pear shaped and live in TU straight leg jeans. Not the most hard wearing but at less than £20 per pair I don't worry too much

Thanks @LakeFlyPie I’ve got some Tesco jeans which are quite good so happy to try sainsburys. I hate the fact that all the supermarkets no longer have changing rooms though.

Levi’s are worth a try. I appreciate they’re not cheap but they’re the only jeans I have ever found that fit me.

Before I knew my size I just ordered a variety of sizes / lengths online and then returned unsuitable items to store, I do live quite near a Sainsbury’s though, appreciate it's not that easy for everyone

And Other Stories tapered jeans - I’m this shape and these are a perfect fit.

minipie how do you manage to wear tapered style without getting 'parsnip leg' effect?
I've gone from bootleg to straight leg but can't pull off tapered

M&S sienna. I think they do them in a slightly more pricey magic fit version that might suit better at the waist too

Probably by accepting my legs are parsnip shaped 😆 actually in my case my calves are chunky too so they never look too parsnipy iyswim. They end up looking more like straight leg on me.

The only kind of jeans where my legs don’t look at all parsnipy are proper wide leg jeans which widen from the hip, but this is quite a specific look and not the most practical.
