What BB creams are we loving?

Currently using the garnier one which I don't mind but none of the shades are quite right for my skin tone. Would like to try other brands but which ones are worth it?

I like the L’Oréal Magic (used to be Nude Magique) Can go a bit orange if you go too dark but their “light” works well on my fair/mid skin tone.

platinumplus · 18/11/2023 12:22

Following. I've always liked the texture of the garnier one but like you say the shades aren't great.

The Aldi Lacura one is good. It can be a bit light, but for light coverage then it is good stuff.

minipie · 18/11/2023 20:41

Erborian - but the CC cream rather than the BB. Finally tried it after lots of recs on here and I love it.

For more inexpensive I like the Nivea BB cream

Janedoe82 · 18/11/2023 20:51

I just tried Max Factor today- only £4 in B and B. Really like it

Lndnmummy · 18/11/2023 21:15

I like Clinique

Normandy144 · 18/11/2023 21:22

I really like the L'Oréal Magic BB cream. It comes out white and then turns into pigment as you rub it in. Nice and light and good coverage. I bought it in the summer when looking for something for a holiday and will stick with it. Really nice.

I love Kiko, it just looks like you've got really good skin

I always forget about Kiko. It's such good quality make up at a very reasonable price! Good shout.

Second this. I have both the erborian BB and CC creams and the CC is excellent. I don't wear any other makeup with it and it looks like I've been airbrushed. Highly recommend

cathyandclaire · 19/11/2023 09:08

I love Erborian but often find I'm between shades. I've started buying the two shades of CC cream and mixing so that I get the right shade throughout the year. It's a big initial cost but when I put it on it makes me look like less tired and a bit glowy. Magic stuff.

I really like this one too. Decent shade range for a BB cream too - about 5 or 6 shades I think.

RazorstormUnicorn · 19/11/2023 09:30

I've got Eborian and can't see a difference after I put it on. I wonder if I'm doing it wrong?

TruthRevolution · 19/11/2023 09:31

Max factor one is very good.

minipie · 19/11/2023 09:32

Maybe you just have lovely skin to start with Razor 😀

It is very sheer. If you want something with more coverage I would recommend the NARS tinted moisturiser which has more pigment - a step closer to a light foundation.

Labtastic · 19/11/2023 20:57

I sometimes mix the erborian cc and bb creams at about 70/30 ratio which seems to counteract my traditional winter, so pale it's almost blue, skin...

Janedoe82 · 19/11/2023 22:44

Just realised it is Max Factor CC cream not BB- but it is very light on the skin and good!

GlobalCitz · 20/11/2023 09:15

This is my specialist subject; I love BB creams and have tried most (including KBeauty products).

At the moment I'm loving skin tints though and (surprisingly) my favourite is Maybelline skin tint.

Very light, comfortable to wear, lasts all day, some skincare in it and weirdly it has a lot of coverage for something so light and sheer.

beguilingeyes · 20/11/2023 12:15

I had a La Roche Posay one in a beauty box and I love it.

lindyloo57 · 20/11/2023 15:33

I love the eborian cc cream too, but have to mix them in winter and spring, can get away with dore in the summer. I will never go back to a full foundation cream again

LindorDoubleChoc · 20/11/2023 15:57

The Bourjois CC cream is perfect for me.

RazorstormUnicorn · 08/12/2023 16:25

Just coming back to this to say I hadn't realised I was using Eborian skin hero which is basically a moisturiser. I found the Eborian cc in my stash and am loving it!

(Pretty sure skin hero was in a gwp so at least I didn't directly pay for it!)

BodgerSparkins · 08/12/2023 16:28

Erborian bb here. I am pale with freckles and it looked too dark coming out the tube but perfect on, covers the redness under my nose without being evident at all.
