Can anyone recommend some warm wrist warmers or fingerless gloves please that are much cheaper than Turtle Doves?

Primark sell fingerless gloves at this time of year

You can make your own out of socks, just sew them together. Or buy sports sleeves (lycra).

Look at Turtle Doves on eBay. They sell
Seconds, which are still excellent, without the tag & they can be £11 or so a pair.

My turtle doves have been worn very little and have developed several holes, I won't be repurchasing from them.

Moths?

AutumnBride · 18/11/2023 08:24

No, they've been stored in a drawer, definitely no moths.

I have Pachamama wrist warmers, and they are lovely, but be aware that a lot of their styles are quite a bit thicker/chunkier than Turtle Doves ones, so you can't use your hands as well. They're very warm and durable though.

Found mine in sainsburies. Not on the normal hat and gloves place it was on one of those end ones by a brand ( sorry cannot remember and I have left them at work ). But they come in light pink and cream. Very warm. And so so so so soft. No idea what they are made off but lovely.

I bought a cashmere jumper in a charity shop last year, sent it to Turtle Doves and got a pair of wrist warmers in my choice of colour for £5. It has to be 100% cashmere, but it was such good service.

Seconded, @Karwomannghia

Turtle Doves are excellent.

If you can knit they are easy to knit. Try lovecrafts for a free pattern.
