Perfume for me

There is an ingredient or possibly a group of ingredients that, if I smell them, make me feel very ill.
I am allergic to a cluster of ingredients, it could be something from that cluster.

Usually they are the brands with a star's name on it, I am not being specific because this ingredient is in a lot of things.

I believe that the ingredient is a preservative or something similar, not a perfumed ingredient IYKWIM?

Aveda used to make a shampure perfume which I loved, I think it was no 6? Nothing to do with their current chakra range.
It was very oily, but it smelled so good.
They stopped making it about 10 years ago I think. I have tried their shampure massage oil and it is not the same thing.

Then I found that I liked Fragonard's Violette and Neom Tonka. They have stopped producing both of these now too.

Can anyone recommend a scent that might suit me please?

It would be helpful to know the ingredient(s) you're allergic to?

Juliette has a Gun, Not a perfume? Supposed to be low allergen.

But based on you mentioning tonka - Jo Malone's Myrrh and Tonka is lovely, and lasts all day. I'm in love with it, to me it smells really warm and Christmassy

I'm allergic to crustaceans, molluscs, all fish, wine and bad hayfever.

However @Possimpible I'm unsure that the aspect of the smell that bothers me is as a result of an allergy, it could be that something about the smell generates sickness.

Other perfumes/eau de parfum I have tried include:

Ellis Brooklyn - my favourites; sweet, vanilla milk, bee, rrose and super amber.

Sol de Janiero - I enjoy the body sprays, though they never last. I purchased their perfume 62. It's ok, though I wouldn't buy again! IMO it doesn't smell as good as their mists.

Escentric Molecules - they aren't offensive, on me they aren't anything! I have asked friends and they can't smell it.

Neals Yard - rose

There are more, I will find them when I unpack.

Lots of smells I like, my favourites are: ylang ylang, honey, rose, amber, violet, vanilla, tonka bean, lavender.

@LovelaceBiggWither I have heard things about JHAG, but prefer a more female smell.

@CuntRYMusicStar do you mean Jo Malone as in Estée Lauder? Or Jo Loves?
