Non greasy SPF facial moisturiser

After a recent BCC lesion diagnosis, that is on my nose, I need to start wearing a high factor SPF on my face. I hate the feeling of greasy creams on my face, can anyone recommend a high SPF non greasy daily moisturiser please?

I've tried many as I can't stand the feel of greasy sunscreen and this is the best I've found bondisands.co.uk/products/spf-50-fragrance-free-face-fluid

Cerave 50 spf face cream is also good but feels more moisturising

I use Cetaphil’s factor 50 day cream and find it moisturising but not greasy

Pinkitydrinkity0 · 17/11/2023 13:52

I use the Cetaphil daily defence SPF50, it’s great.

Japanese and Korean sunscreens are the best. The Biore aqua rich one is very lightweight, comes in SPF 30 or 50 and is available in Superdrug or there are lots of others available online.

Thanks all I'll take a look at those mentioned. I don't really have a lot of spare cash so I want to avoid buying something I then can't use.

My absolute favourite is Aldi’s Lacura Rejuvelate Day Cream SPF 30, it’s the one I always go back to after unhappily using expensive moisturisers and my skin looks and feels better than it ever has with any big brands. I love the night cream too.

Second the Biore Aqua Rich. Very glad it's in Superdrug now.

Bore here too
Not oily but face feels moisturised after using it

I use a Beauty Pie one which is light and non-greasy. Simple do one my friend swears by - protect and glow it's called.

Nivea SPF50 Shine Control is really good

ithinkthatmaybeimdreaming · 17/11/2023 19:56

I'm not in the UK, but I always use Nivea Nourishing Day Cream SPF30.

I put it on in the morning, and even though I'm out and about all day my face never gets burnt, and we are at much more risk of burning here than you are in the UK. I don't find it at all greasy.

FeelinSpendy · 17/11/2023 20:32

Biore and the other Japanese sunscreens are great and so lightweight. But in your situation I’d not want to be playing around, so I’d go for an Australian sunscreen as they are the most thoroughly tested. The Ultraviolette one linked above is one of the very best.

I've had several melanomas removed including on my face so am paranoid. I also hate sticky things or things that rub off into balls (the Nivea shine control does for me).

I really like the L'oreal clinical spf50 over the winter (I don't trust the moisturisers to have enough SPF in), Garnier also do a similar one that's a liquid.

In the summer I use La Roche Posay or Avene as recommended by my cancer nurse. She also raved about the Altruist one you can buy from Amazon, I bought the anti redness one which did not work for me but will try the normal face one.

💐it's horrid suddenly being so scared of being in the sun. Don't forget to wear hats/visors too when the UV is stronger, the spf is second line after covering up.
