Has anyone ever painted normal polish over BIAB?

Just that really. My BIAB is nude and I just want them to be a different colour next week for a few things but would rather not go back to the salon for gel. The BIAB is still intact and not ready for infills yet.

Can I paint over with a normal polish then remove with a gentle remover leaving BIAB intact?

Sorry, what’s BIAB.

JackGeller · 16/11/2023 21:12

I’m pretty sure as long as the nail polish you use doesn’t have acetone in that will be fine x

AlexandraJJ · 16/11/2023 21:13

You can yes. Just use acetone free remover when you want to take it off

Yeah I did once when I decided I didn’t really like the colour I’d picked, it’s fine

Sorry, what’s BIAB.

Builder in a bottle, bit like gel nails.

Yes of course you can, you don't have to have gel on biab at all.
You can either leave it on until your next removal & they'll just file it off as normal, or you can remove it with acetone free nail varnish remover.

I've wondered this so glad you asked. I was thinking about getting something sparkly for my Christmas appointment instead of my usual neutral but don't really want that on Jan 3rd. 😄
