Structured kimono??

I love one hundred stars kimonos but they make me look like a middle aged potato. I am a slimmish apple shape and need a bit more structure, but I want something beautiful and flowy that I can wear over smart clothes or casual ones.

am I looking for a blazer?!? Can anyone help??

I think what I want is a tailored shirt that is designed to be open fronted, if that makes sense? All the blazers look very dated and have shoulder pads

Or a long edge-to-edge cardigan. I think you need to shoulders to be on your shoulders, not on the upper arm.

@nitgel what material are they made from? I am seeing a lot of very sheer fabrics which are beautiful but emphasise all my lumpy bits

Well worth looking at the website under Customers in Shibumi where the posh people are wearing their clothes - lots of mother of the bride/groom and Princess Anne!
My friend has the kimono and the reverse in blue is just as lovely. Maybe wait for the sale.

Im in Ireland & the customs charges can be mad. Ill wait fir the sale.
