your front upper tooth falling out and you were due to go into London to see a show and had been intending to go to a meal and a bar as well?

Sadly I am nearer to 56 years old than 6 years old! Fortunately it doesn't hurt. I'm not worried about pain for eating and drinking etc. Kind dentist has shifted appointments around to get me sorted next week but the theatre trip is before then.

The tooth was an old dead tooth that snapped 😣😩 a couple of days ago but fell out tonight

It's not a particularly rare occurrence/special occasion, I'm going with Dh. But I am feeling pretty sad about have a great big gap!

What would you do? Any tips?

😞

No one?

Ah well, I'd hoped for a few gags at least! Grin

I broke a tooth last Easter. I'm getting an implant very soon and I've got a 'flipper' to fill the gap. I kept it in all of the time at first but now I just have the gap most of the time. Mine isn't right at the front but you can see it.

I was so self conscious at first but I'm just used to it now.

Thanks for your reply! I'm getting a flipper next week @savoycabbage, are they tricky to pop in and out? And to speak with?

No, I haven't had any problems with it but eating is a bit odd. But manageable. I only have mine in for work now.
