Split denim skirt outfit

Hi I really like this skirt, I've seen it dressed up with belt, tucked in top, heeled ankle boots and jewellery. However I'm 42 get a bit cold 🤣 and would like to wear tights but would it look ridiculous and ruin the whole look?
Also would knee boots be better?

Is there a video of the skirt you’ve linked, @Sun3535? So you can see what it does when you walk. It looks as if there may not be enough fabric all round to make it easy to wear. Hard to tell though.

It's absolutely fine to wear tights, I personally would wear more interesting tights than just black opaque ones, maybe black tights with velvet roses patterns, maroon or charcoal knitted tights or lace patterned tights.

Once the autumn/winter season kicks in it’s those not wearing tights who look a bit silly.

I've got one just like this, and wear it often with tights, chunky knee boots and a t shirt or black polo neck and big earrings. I probably would also wear it out in the evening with bare legs, heels and a shirt or dressier top for a dinner. I'm ok with bare legs if I've got my massive long fur coat on and it's evening. Tights all the way for daytime! I'm older than you so definitely relate to not wanting to be cold
