Luxurious bath milk/bubbles?

elm26 · 13/11/2023 12:50

Hi everyone

Looking to treat myself to a lovely bath milk or bubbles. A bath for half hour in the evening is my daily treat when DH is with baby DD.

I've tried Neom and Aromathery Associates but find they don't bubble up very much.

I fancy trying a milk that leaves my skin really soft, my budget is £40.

Thanks in advance!

La Perlier honey bath is amazing, leaves your skin really smooth and smells divine, you only need a small amount

Elemis bath milk is rather nice or ESPA bath oil. Slightly more unorthodox is dried milk granules. Feels lovely.

If you want a bath milk that foams the Elemis one's are nice. I have a couple and they are very bubbly.

I love the Weleda bath milks, but they don't foam. They do feel very nourishing though.

Following! I want to get some nice bath products as my Christmas present to myself...
DH is lovely but very practical when it comes to gift giving

Following also.

My budget isn't as high though, so B&M suggestions welcome. 🤣

Adding Olverum for anyone that wants an oil. It's like pine and eucalyptus and makes the whole house smell of it. Incredible if you are full of a cold

Second this. I love it.

Thanks everyone for suggestions!

£40 is leftover from my birthday money for my 30th in the summer, I usually use and love imperial leather and dove bubble baths but thought I'd treat myself to something that gives me a spa like feeling for half hour because the other 23.5 hours in a day I'm in mum mode lol

Not sure it’s classed as luxury but soap and glory is lush smells so nice and the body butter is amazing after a bath in their bubbles. Leaves skin v soft and smelling lovely . Other options are ted baker , even sanctuary spa is lovely .

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dr-Teals-Foaming-Eucalyptus-Spearmint/dp/B007THNPBS?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1

This isn’t particularly expensive but it smells amazing (like the fanciest spa), produces great bubbles and the ingredients are good (it’s also vegan and cruelty free).
It’s by far the best bubble bath I’ve ever had (including really expensive ones) and about the only beauty/bath product that I consistently repurchase because I genuinely believe it’s the best thing available and I don’t need to try anything else.
My DH has strict instructions not to choose ‘upgrade’ (more expensive) bath products as gifts because this is what I love.
They also do a bath oil and bath salts in the same scent so sometimes I add them all for the most luxurious bath imaginable.
