Does anyone own them ? Are they super warm etc Myself and my husband are thinking of buying one each however I’m concerned about the animal rights etc am I right in thinking they’ve stopped selling real fur .
Im really unsure about it on that side of things but If they are changing their ways it’s a good thing.
We both have never had decent coats apart from I have a joules charlington and that is nice and I enjoy wearing it . we both feel the cold a lot so wondering if these coats are good.
We are thinking of investing in a good coat such as these as they have a lifelong warranty and seems better than keep throwing away £50-150 on coats every few years that don’t keep us warm or dry . The lastest joules one is nice so it may just be him that buys one I’m still thinking it over . Thank you

I’ve looked at didriksons as suggested found a couple I like but then I looked on trustpilot and many reviews saying the coats are not waterproof etc . Bad reviews basically.

I work outside. They are warm & waterproof.

I highly recommend Holland Cooper, they're brilliant quality and I think much more stylish than Canada goose.

Thanks all going to go for didriksons .

Now a new dilemma Erika parka or Ceres? There’s quite a difference in price but I like both . Is Erika super warm ? Thank you

Oh but 66° North is tiny. I wear a small in sweaty betty but have to take L to XL in 66 North

Uniqlo sizes are really odd sometimes. I’m tall and long limbed, I’m fed up with having to buy size large tights when I’m dress size 12. M and S - I mean you

I have a Save the Duck coat and it’s sooooo warm. Too warm I think. They are sized quite small and I recommend buying from a UK retailer rather than their site as they have bad reviews for returns.

ive just came across Holland copper and a coat I like does anyone know that brand and if the coats are warm thanks

I had a Holland Cooper. It was too hot to wear indoors which made shopping a nightmare. You'd feel toasty outside, but instantly sweated inside a shop, but it was too cold still and too bulky to take off and carry. Also, the lining was completely non breathable, so it was like sweating in a plastic bag, I'd be dripping. I'm only a size 8, and permanently cold, so this was quite the achievement.

I also have a Canada Goose (lorette I think is called) which is the slim fit black label long parka looking coat. Suitable for minus ten my arse. My shoulders would get ice cold, and if it rains, you need to get inside within ten minutes or the water starts seeping through. It's my autumn coat, not good enough at keeping warm in the real cold. I'm sure the more padded versions are better at warmth. The idea you could wear this in minus anything is ridiculous. It doesn't make you drip horribly like the Holland did though.

Would also love recommendations for alternatives.
