Burgundy Crinkle Jersey Mini Shirt Dress | New Look

I'd like a dress which looks exactly like this, but is made of something nicer than polyester. Ideally cotton and elastane (perhaps with some wool?), but not averse to viscose, tencel, etc. Anyone seen one? TIA

I'd type shirt dress or tunic dress into various search engines and stores and see what comes up.

Just for the record, elastane is usually made from polyester. I'm not knocking here, I wear it, but thought it might be helpful to clarify.

Thanks @StarlightLady . I didn't know that it was made from polyester. I don't mind it really because it tends to be in low percentages. It's when it's 100%, or even 30%, polyester I start to dislike the feel....

@StarlightLady , I don't think elastane is made from polyester, but it can be made using a polyester. Both are petroleum-based.

@KirstenBlest - I don’t pretend to be an expert in these matters, hence my attempts to be ultra careful in my response, but my understanding, based on what l have read and of what peeps have told me (both fallible) is that it is often made from polyester. I’m happy to be corrected if wrong.

The OP has, however, indicated that she is happy with small amounts.

Op I liked the dress you linked so much that I actually bought it. The colour and fit (and the price) are great but you are right about the material. It does feel very polyester - like. I know that should be obvious but sometimes polyester clothes just don't feel that way but this one does. I still love it so might get the green one as well. :-)
