Stylish practical Winter boots

I'm after a pair of winter boots for mainly a few sightseeing tips I have planned in cold conditions (winter markets), but also for general wear in wintery conditions. I'd usually wear trainers and have a couple of pairs of dressy leather boots but they wouldn't be ideal for 20-30k step kind of day and after something more casual.

I love the look of sorel but not sure which are best from that brand and open to a wide range of ideas. Does anyone have any recommendations please?

Around £100-125 ish.

Hopefully they will last a good 10 years

Take a look at Barbour boots. Or Ugg also do sheep lined leather boots.

I've just treated myself to the fur lined dr marten Leonore boots. They are so comfy and durable. I'm in love with them. Slightly over budget at £179.99 but you can get discount on certain sites. I managed to get mine for £142! Worth every penny I'm going to treat myself to a different colour

I love Hoka’s but size up a size from your usual size. I have these in a light blue (doesn’t look like they have them anymore) and they are like walking on a cloud.

Where did you get them for that please @MamaBanana12 ? I really fancy a pair OR some Air & Grace Caminos but can't justify the price & the fact they're suede (not waterproof)

@ChocoChocoLatte I got them off CHO. They have 20% off on currently. They are £179.99 but down to £143.

Skechers Glacial boots are incredibly comfy, warm and water resistant (I top up with a waterproofing spray and have never had wet feet!) I walk miles in them around cities. The black ones have black uppers and soles, so you don’t get the two-tone split that often makes Skechers look less smart than other brands. They’re not incredibly stylish though, but if you’ve got other boots for looks then these are great for comfort and distance.

(edited to change waterproof to water resistant)
