I want to learn how to apply make up well and what suits me and blends well, where do I start ? A masterclass ? A big store like John Lewis?

Make up artists do lessons. You’d have to pay but at least it’d be a lesson not a sales pitch.

YouTube - Lisa Eldrige :)

I would start with a boots no7 counter. The products are cheaper and you may want to experiment to find what you like.

I’d say no to a counter and find a professional make up artist recommended in your area. Someone who uses multiple products and can advise on your budget. Counters are only there to sell their products.

Our John Lewis has a separate John Lewis beauty counter where you can book masterclasses and they use products from across all the counters. I think the amount of the masterclass is redeemable on products.
