A very warm long puffer coat

Can anyone tell me where I may be able to find a long warm waterproof (ish) coat? I know they are everywhere but most of them are not really warm.
I need something that is stylish as I need it for work and going out during winter.
I feel so cold that I ache...so really want to avoid this happening.
Also I am on a budget...can't afford anything that is £££££ but I know this is not going to be cheap. Hopefully I will be able to use it for years to come.
Thank you 😊

I recently ordered this one, tested it out in the garden and it was sooo cosy. Unfortunately they are made massive so had to return it as it was like a tent on me. I'm still searching for the perfect one for me.

Didrikson Leya has 2 lengths. I ordered the longer one, it’s perfect. They run on the large side,

They have a wide range of styles. If you look at the Didriksons own site for the full range and descriptions, then shop around for any you like. I found mine on 2 websites Fruugo and New Forest Clothing- both significantly cheaper with Black Friday offers. Totally waterproof and different levels of insulation. I wear it for dog walking in Scotland in snow, rain wind etc.

Also look at Superdry who have a range of different styles, probably not as waterproof but cosy in my experience.

Here to second Didriksons - I bought a maxi length puffer from them a couple of years ago and I am the envy of anyone when it gets seriously cold! I think it was around £250/300 but I expect it to last me years and years.

I'm in a similar boat - trying to find a quality warm parka. Have a look on Tog 24 as they have lots of really nice quality warm coats and several are reduced. You can also pay by Klarna if you want to spread the payments 😊

@Newgolddream70 thank you! I just found a reduced "tog 24" 😊

Looks like you are sorted but land end are good. They are made for midwestern winters. Not the most stylish but warm enough for Chicago which is regularly-20 during winter.

I have this one in the khaki and the off white but the price has gone up since I got mine! Really nice and warm and with a bit of shape too.

Have you looked on Vinted? I just got a new with tags Joule duvet style coat for 1/4 of its original price.

Devilsmommy · 11/11/2023 22:17

I got a long trespass coat for £40 on m&m direct. It's the warmest coat I've ever worn and when it wears out I will definitely be getting the same again😁

Copperoliverbear · 11/11/2023 23:04

I brought one from Sweaty Betty last year, I love it, it's like a duvet worth every penny. X

SnappyMcMuffin · 11/11/2023 23:08

I got a cheap one from Sainsbury's last year, it's black, thick and ankle length - perfect for playground duty in winter!! Sainso also have 25% off next week I think

I have a LandsEnd Parka , not worn it yet bought it at the tailend of last winter

And a Superdry Fiji full length coat (DD has the jacket) beautufully warm without feather/down
