Help me Find an everyday handbag.

I’m hoping some of you stylish lot can help me find a new handbag, I’ve been carrying around a baby changing backpack style bag (albeit a lovely one) for 2.5 years and I’m ready for a proper handbag again.

It needs to be large enough to carry all my crap without looking overstuffed, either tote/shoulder or cross body (but not sure it would be big enough).

I would like it to be a colour that will pretty much go with most other colours so nothing too bright and definitely nothing patterned. I love jewel tones and deep autumnal colours.

I’m aiming for elegant and well put together.

Honestly, I love my Sandqvist rucksack - I was given it as a leaving gift from a job ten years ago, and it is so stylish, badass and practical. For me, it's the epitome of not looking like you're trying, but also looking very put together, plus having room for a laptop, makeup bag, book, charger, etc wihtout ever looking overstuffed.

Which one do you have?

I have a dr martens mini leather backpack. I love it. Fits quite a lot in.
