Classic jeans for older, slim-hipped, big tummy people

Would some kindly, knowledge fashionista here please help reduce the bi-annual torture that is jean-buying for me please, by suggesting brands that would suit my figure?

I am nearly sixty so they have to be good quality, classic, dark navy jeans or chinos or moleskins. I dress quite traditionally but I haven’t rolled over and died ifyswim. 😆

They need to be stretchy and slim-fitting or straight but not skinny, especially not tight around my cart horse knees, and they need to accommodate my forward facing Caesarian flap bulge as well as fitting my relatively slim hips. Oh and I am tall and very long in leg. Size 16 or 18 depending on brand. Thick apple waist atm though.

It just takes me ages and ages to find the right two pairs and I can’t face the search this year. And my old pairs have holes in and don’t fit me very well anymore.

Budget up to £120 per pair. (They will be worn daily.) Fit is important.

PS I have absolutely no hips, and no curve in my thighs. All my curviness is forward-facing ifyswim in tum and large boobs.

What about Levi Ribcage straight jeans? I have a pair and they’re really comfy, and the high waist means they hold in your tummy.

I'm a long legged 36in inside leg and have straight leg jeans from all the above.

My tall, long legged fifty-something friend wears Uniqlo jeans and they look great on her. Straight leg, dark denim.

Also Brax jeans and cords (Bella di Notte stock them, probably other places too) have different fits depending on whether you are apple or pear shaped. They are all slightly stretchy, I like the look of the cords.
I think the Mary and Toni cuts are both for apple shapes, the Carola is for smaller waists, fuller bottom and thighs.

Also 50 something, tall, no hips, no waist, long slender legs.
I have the M&S 35 inch leg Sienna.

Next long, just bought a pair of lift, shape etc slim leg for £48 today.
55, 5 ft 9, 33 inside leg , Apple shape.
Have other (cheaper 😂) jeans from other Next ranges.
Also have jeans from M&S for the longer length, although personally Next jeans fit me better.

Thank you very much for the suggestion! I can certainly try them! I sometimes get on with a high waist and sometimes not. Usually a mid-rise is best though… don’t ask me why … one of the problems is that I have no idea why a certain pair of jeans looks good, and another looks hideous… hence my difficulty in weeding out good ones!

Does it usually go that if they are long in leg they tend to be less generous in hip and thigh area?

Funnily enough I had a pair of Brax chinos years ago and lived in them, the fit was so good! I will track some down as I had forgotten all about them… .

I wear some Next long length jeggings in Wellington boots and they fit surprisingly well. I will go and have a look at their jeans… .

M&S Magic Shaping. I have them in long length so I can have turn ups. I'm a size 16 in them. Am all tummy and no hips. They are high waisted but I find them really comfy. I'm 5' 9".
