Boots with skirts

Sadly, I am that frazzled British woman aesthetic form the other thread. Currently wearing a knee length cord skirt I bought in River Island about 20 years ago, and with it my trusty mid calf brown suede flat boots from Clarks.

But my boots seem to be on the way out. I looked on Clarks and there were very few boots above ankle height. Are knee high and mid calf boots out? What do I wear to work with skirts in the winter to keep me warm?

No heels, I walk a 3 mile round trip for work and my knees cant take heels anymore.

I'm wearing knee highs again, with shorter skirt. I'm not fond of mid calf myself, don't think it's so flattering, I tend to go ankle or knee high but that's just a preference.

I don’t think ankle is very flattering with skirts or dresses unless you have very slim legs.

Clarks Outlet website is your friend. Lots of knee high boots. I just bought two pairs a replacement for my old faithfuls which finally gave up the ghost.

I'm under 5ft. My mid mud calf sit more like a knee high!🙄
