What is this tweed called?

I saw a lovely tweed coat in a charity shop- but it wasnt my size. I've fallen in love with the fabric- it was the same as the Bill Pashley suit Diana wore on the Balmoral honeymoon- fine houndstooth- burgundy/ black on a mid brown background-but I can't find the actual name to search on ebay/ vinted. anyone know?

Bumping up for you as I'd like to know, and I'm not sure.

I’d say a very light Harris tweed.
(Doesn’t she look happy!)

The next time you see it (or in the future) take a photo on your phone, run Google lense, then click shopping. It will tell you where you can buy things with that pattern.

That's a fabulous photo. Diana looks gorgeous but she knew then on honeymoon that Charles and Camilla were still an item ☹️

As happy as it's possible to be when you're spending your honeymoon at your mother-in-law's favourite home, and when you suspect your husband is still in love with his ex!

Given that they were in Scotland, I can't imagine she was given much choice but to wear Harris Tweed. It's still very lovely though.
