Leather hi tops

I seem to be spending ages online searching for some black leather hi tops to see me through winter. I’m after the Goldilocks pair - not mega chunky, but chunky enough to be v slightly edgy (as well as comfortable). I want to wear them with ‘magic’ trousers, and a long denim skirt.

I’m not sure about Converse as that’s what my teen wears and I’m 50. But maybe…

These moda in pelle ones look good but there’s no shop near me and the pay-for-postage returns policy is annoying.

I'm 53 and have some fleece lined leather hi-top Chucks. Super-comfy (and toasty warm in winter). I don't care if teens are wearing Converse or not (I've been wearing them longer than teens have been alive so 😋)

Thank you! I do own a few pairs of converse myself. They just are so ubiquitous at the moment, and I was hoping for something maybe a bit different and with a zip for slipping on (sorry should have mentioned that). But thank you, Converse still in the running!

Where I live in east London, there aren't any around at all. Weird how it can be so different!

I have these Gabor trainers. Look similar to the ones you posted. Very comfortable and hard wearing.

Air and Grace have a chunky and less chunky version - I like them but already have converse and other similar...

Thank you for the recommendations. I particularly like the look of the Air & Grace chunkies but are quite £££!
