Can anyone recommend a miscellar water that is oil free? I can't use Nivea as it's oil based and starts off my bletheritis.
I know Garnier to an oil free but just thought I'd ask on here incase anyones got any better suggestions.

The whole point of them is that they have oil in them
Without the oil it's literally just water

La roche posay. Available in Boots

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water is oil-free. It's great stuff. Available on Amazon, in Boots etc.

@HundredMilesAnHour thanks, I was just looking at that one. Does it sting your eyes at all?

So why does it say "Does Bioderma Micellar Water have oil in it?The Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water is oil-free, it's simply formulated with gentle soothing ingredients like cucumber extract and micelles suspended in water."

It's never stung my eyes or skin. And I have sensitive skin (even my own sweat stings me!) Lookfantastic sell the small size if you want to try it:

Lipids are fats

I do not know why they have chosen to state this

Ask them

Tiredandsleepie · 08/11/2023 21:13

I suppose it's like saying something is sugar free but has honey in it

Caprylic/capric triglyceride is derived from coconut oil and glycerine and is considered an excellent emollient and skin-replenishing ingredient. Of note, its mix of fatty acids replenish skin's surface and help it to resist moisture loss.

Mirrormeback · 08/11/2023 22:47

Oil it has oil

Mirrormeback · 08/11/2023 22:47

Good luck trying it out though

Mirrormeback · 08/11/2023 22:48

Dig deeper into the inci list

The Garnier with the pink lid is my go to, having tried the bioderma. I know that the bioderma has a huge following, but I didn’t think there was much difference between the two. And bioderma is about ten times the price.

CeraVe is the only one that doesn't irritate me or sting my eyes, whacking great big bottle too.
