Over the knee boots - recommendations!

Hi lovely mumsnetters!

I'm seeking recommendations for black over the knee boots please!

Ideally flat or a very low heel if possible, ones that fit snug to the thigh and stay up! Maximum budget of £100 for the right ones. I'm worried about risking ordering online without being able to try them on...

Hi OoohWhatchaSay, I think you would be better with the classic knee height rather than over the knee, I am not a slave to fashion trends, but I have seen that over the knee is pretty outdated, the current style is more pointed/square toe, or Biker boots that come up higher on the leg Knee High Office Boots Kitten biker

Oh dear can you tell I'm clueless when it comes to fashion 😂 This is a shame these styles are more in at the moment, as I have a really odd leg shape (bowed?) which means a boot below the knee just highlights how disjointed my legs look 😆 Over the knee tends to disguise this. I'm looking for something to wear to a rock-style gig with a fairly short dress, would an ankle style boot maybe be better then...

I had some a few years ago from Next but sold them on one of my clearouts. Not regretted it because I wasn't wearing them, but they were nice. Flat, faux suede, and just a bit different.

There are loads on vinted and ebay and prices are from very low. You might even get new ones for next to nothing. Might be tempted.

Look for 'over knee' and 'thigh'.

I got an over knee pair on Vinted. Can I ask, do people think they are “too much” as in, I want to wear mine to a work do but I feel like they’re a bit “sleazy”.

No, flat ones aren't, but be careful with the outfit.

I am over 60 and I have faux suede stretchy thigh high boots which I wear in winter under my maxi skirts - they keep my legs nice and warm🙂
