Uniqlo Sizing?

What's Uniqlo sizing like, please? Do things come up larger, small, just right?

I'm after getting some plain tops.
I like them to fit very snug skin tight
Am I best to buy the size I usually am? Or go one up? One down?

And I might get some trousers. Again - size up, down, usual?

I hate how women's clothes sizes are so variable shop to shop!

I’d say they come up a bit large. Especially the trousers. I have a 28 inch waist and Uniqlo 26 inch waist trousers fit me perfectly

For reference I am a UK size 12 and usually wear an M at Uniqlo, sometimes sizing up to an L if I want a roomier fit. Agree with PP that jeans come up quite large.

I think sizing is true to size (Japanese brands usually come up small). I’m a size 10 & wear a size small.

Always check the actual measurements listed for each garment, as these differ depending on the item and are the best way to go for sizing imo, so occasionally I am a L, others XL. Also the comments can be very useful for fit and sizing.

I think it's a real mixed bag. Check the reviews carefully to find out if things run big or small. Generally I'd say tops run on the big side. So I'm an 8-10 and if I wanted a uniqlo top to fit snugly I'd go for an XS. I'd go for S for a more relaxed fit.

I’m a size 16 and the size finder came up with XL did wonder if a L would be better but ordered the XL anyway, 3 different tee shirts and all perfect fit. They don’t look baggy, just fit nicely. Give the size finder a try as a guide.

It depends what the style of the item is. I have S and M sizes depending on the fit and style. My hybrid down coat is an oversized style so I comfortably fit the S. the tops of they’re fitted or straight I get M and if they’re boxy and wide style wise I get S. I’ve lost weight and before that often got L in tops that weren’t oversized. Trousers generally M fit. Im a size 12 hourglass.

Can I ask what size you take please? There's a few things on there I'd like but the sizing chart just confuses me. I'm a 12-14 top.

I'm usually a size 8 but it varies shop-to-shop. I once got a haul in Primark that ranged from a size 4 top to size 12 trousers 😆
