Does anyone remember the Boden Ravello top

these were viscose / silk mix, short sleeve ,a round or v neck and slightly fitted.

they were perfect for me to wear under jackets as they looked quite smart and I dislike shirt collars & long sleeves under jackets.

I still have one in black, every so often I remember to wear it and am reminded how much I love it.

Boden would do really well to bring back some of these classics. I used to absolutely salivate over their brochures and dream of my other life where I nimbly skipped around Menorca or Santorini in their Ravello tops and Richmond trousers.

I found a sewing pattern that was very like it and made a couple myself.
I agree about them being perfect for with a suit.

I'm going to try mine on later now, and either put them back in the rotation, or on Vinted!

I have just thrown out my 15 year old boden pull-ons. They haven't done anything like that for ages. I wish they would bring their old things back. I used to wear their stretch cotton trousers all the time too.

Whose patter was it @CardiCorgi? Might have a go at that as a winter project.

If you search on eBay for 'Boden silk' and then filter for short sleeves, quite a lot come up. The Carey top was similar - I have a nice one with grey polka dots that I still wear for work.

Yes, the Richmonds. I loved these too, had them in loads of colours. Then one day - gone without a mention. Sad days.

I think Simplicity had one too as part of a wardrobe pattern.

Burda 6047 if you have a fabric shop nearby. It says 1.75 m of fabric, but im sure I got mine out of a metre.
