Ysl mini Lou old or new

Hi all
so I’ve spent a few months deciding between the Lou camera bag or the mini Lou .
ive decided to go for the mini Lou however when looking at ordering I’ve noticed they have now changed it so on the new version you do not get the tassel and also the leather is quilted leather
old version was the tassel on zipper ( non removable) and it was grained leather .
New is available direct on ysl and old version is still out there on third party sites net a porter / flannels / selfridge etc

im unsure which to go for both are same price and I’m not keen on tassels but unsure if the leather is better on the older one .
ive attached pics for anyone unfamiliar with the bag in question
which does everyone think ? I’ll most likely think on it until end of month as rumoured price increase January

I would go for the grained leather as any scratches wont show as much.
I purchased the Chanel Boy bag last month and had a choice between the calfskin or caviar leather. My preference was the caviar leather and the sales associate agreed that it was more hard wearing.

I’m not sure as I’m not keen on the non removable tassel on the old one but know the leather is better on it.

it’s annoying they changed the leather and didn’t keep it the same apart from the tassel
