Where can I find good bras?

I think I'm looking for unicorn farts, but please help if you can.

I'd like a lightly padded bralet (& matching not-tiny knickers) with a wide band. A bit sporty in style.

'Nice', but not "sexy". Colourful options, but not garish and with 'sensible' options for under work clothes.

I've had a google but can't find what I want.

Please can you recommend something?

Following because I'm after the same. I love the phrase unicorn farts 😂 cos it's so true!

I need similar. I hate underwire due to the shape of my chest no matter what size or style underwire digs in.

I prefer sporty as far more comfortable but want the same type you describe.

For me it's impossible cos small back large (droopier now thanks to my son!) Boobs.

So I use sports bras but they're not the kind I'd like- I'd prefer the style you describe so thank you for this post as I'm just about to do an underwear overhaul.

Hoping someone here has any idea, fingers crossed!

Well it makes me feel better that I'm not the only one!

I am small of bust: 30C so all those D+ retailers are not even slightly helpful.

Is it too much to ask for soft, colourful but not OTT supportive but not restrictive underwear?!

I also live in sports bras but even these are usually ill-fitting, too restrictive or too ancient and overstretched. Or a weird cut out at the back that makes them feel weird.

I'm just not comfortable at all!

Sloggi zero feel bras are great. Some are more sporty than others.

Thanks for the suggestion, I did have a look and I like the style... but.. they all seemed to be unpadded and I really need my nips to be hidden and frankly I like some padding to improve shape.

Thanks, I've had some sloggi before but this just isn't what I'm after now.

Sloggi comfort with lemonade dolls styling and we'd be nearly there!

I bought some bras like this from H&M in 2019 which I loved. I don't know if they still have the style.

I buy similar from Intimissimi (I don't know if you can get this brand in the U.K.? Online ? It's part of Inditex, like Zara, Mango... ) I don't like a thick band and tend to prefer lacy to sporty, but they do sell the styles that I think you're describing.

gerbo · 04/11/2023 20:42

Fair enough. Sloggi do do a good range of colours, though, not just black or nude. The zero feel ultra bra comes in teal, orange, dark red....

I love the asda no wire bras live in them. I'm a E cup.

Weirdly there were some lovely dusty pink ones in Tesco today. Two shapes, one slightly more sporty than the other, both with removable padding Wouldn't suit my massive norks unfortunately.

Loafbeginsat60 · 04/11/2023 22:10

I've recently discovered Pepper Bras.

They do a lightly padded non wired one that fits me perfectly and I just love them!

Few different colours and I'm sure I saw pants to match but I didn't get those

They are for small chested women - I buy the XS size I think I'm a 30B

TooMinty · 04/11/2023 22:13

I like Calvin Klein racer back padded bralets, I don't bother with matching knickers though.
Got comfy weekend padded bralets from Primark too, plus fitted shortie knickers - pretty good for the price, maybe not suitable for work though.
I'm petite and small busted, usually wear xs in both.

Faz469 · 04/11/2023 23:09

Oddballs do some lovely coloured bralettes, with matching women's boxers. I can't speak for the bralettes because they don't do mu size. I do rate the boxers for comfort though.

Try Pink range at Victoria Secrets.

I was coming on to say this. So comfortable and look nice. Hold everything in place too! I bought a more expensive m and s one and it's not half as good.

Thanks, I've actually got some OddBalls ones but they are just weirdly sized: the right band size rises up and squashes the bottom of my small breasts. A bigger size would be baggy.

I did go on and see if they'd improved their shape/sizing, but sadly not.
