One Not Black Bag or Boots

All my winter coats and boots are black. How would you inject some colour, I thought bag or boots, then scarf to match. I can think of tan or burgundy. What are collective thoughts?

Tan is a good idea, as most items that look good with black look equally good in tan.

I love burgundy or even a dark red. I had a pair of chocolate brown lace up brogue boots which were lovely. Chestnut brown is also a good colour.
I wear very little black so these colours go with the rest of my winter wardrobe (navy, grey, dark green and burgundy colours).
