I can't decide but want something stylish but comfortable for the school run, to wear with jeans.

Boots if it's wet, trainers if it's dry - as a general rule! Not set in stone!

TheOGCCL · 03/11/2023 16:01

Both. Trainers when it’s milder/wetter/day, boots to be smarter and warmer.

sunshinesummers · 03/11/2023 16:04

Yep I do both too, it just depends on the weather & what I'm wearing that day. I have too many a few boots to chose from Grin and have been living in my Vejas for a while now.

TakeMe2Insanity · 03/11/2023 16:06

Normally I’d wear boots. Currently in the final stretch of pregnancy and trainers as the only closed shoe that fits 😫

DelphiniumBlue · 03/11/2023 19:32

It depends on the weather and what else I'm wearing - if it's wet and cold, I'll wear boots and a dress, or boots and slimcut trousers. If it's dry, boots or trainers with any trousers/jeans , or boots with a dress, it's just a bit too cold for bare ankles now.

Exclusively boots from November to at least spring equinox

TomAllensWhiskMic · 03/11/2023 19:35

Boots and high top trainers.

TheDogIsInCharge · 03/11/2023 19:38

Chunky boots or Adidas superstars.

Wet? Boots.
Dry and not snowy? Adidas.
Snowy? Fuck that shit, staying in, might play with the dog in the garden wearing gardening wellies.

Blinkityblonk · 03/11/2023 19:41

Dry- tan/pale colour or suede boots (or tan/pale colour and suede!)
Drizzle- black suede boots
Wet-black shiny leather boots of various types

All my boots go into these categories at the moment!

lookingforMolly · 03/11/2023 20:12

Both.

MabelMoo23 · 03/11/2023 20:20

My DM Chelsea boots. Bloody love them

Toomanylosthours · 03/11/2023 20:29

I've just brought 2 pairs of birkenstock bostons that I plan on wearing with wool socks or tights every dry day this winter.

Boots or trainers for wet days

OneRingToRuleThemAll · 03/11/2023 20:30

Chunky Solovair boots from now until March.

HappiDaze · 03/11/2023 20:34

Boots in this horrific weather

Trainers so long as it's dry

GettingStuffed · 03/11/2023 23:02

I'm in trainers, with thick socks. I have icebergs rather than feet

rhiannon1967 · 04/11/2023 01:29

Trainers as I've got big feet so have to wear mens and boots to fit me are hard to come by.

I've got some that are years old but I try and wear them as little as possible to make them last. Only when it's bitterly cold. But I think they've finally worn out last year.

But my feet get absolutely freezing in the winter in trainers!

waltzingparrot · 04/11/2023 10:51

Trainers, but I spray them with water repellent spray in winter.

JustKen · 04/11/2023 10:55

Still trainers but I have my eye on a pair of NPS/Solovair boots. I also have some dorky waljing shoes from Hotter that are non-slip. Does the job but are not stylish by any means.

Netcam · 04/11/2023 10:56

I wear trainers a lot of the time, but mine are Goretex so fine in most weather.

evtheria · 04/11/2023 10:57

I'm in wellies nearly every day Envy
I walk everywhere and it's pretty wet/muddy.

Yoyoyo1 · 04/11/2023 19:41

Thank you, anyxsuggestions appreciated!

Boots. Ankle, calf length, knee high, OTK, love them all.

pizzaHeart · 04/11/2023 19:48

Boots. It’s so cold today!!!
I’ve got problem with my old dresses and skirts ( weight gain) so can’t wear my long boots only short ones with trousers.
